NameExif gives you the ability to select the digital camera files and as long as the images have EXIF ( Exchangeable Image File ) data, the program can renae using the time and date stamp of the image.
This gives a unique identifier and a beautifully sequenced set of hpotos that could very well help with organising a digital photo album or collection.

If one does not want to use specialised software, the direct method is accomplished in a few mouse clicks and keystrokes
1. Select a group of photos in Windows File Manager.
2. Choose rename and type in a name followed by a pair of parentheses surrounding the number. Example : holiday(1).jpg
3. After renaming the single file and selecting a group of images, ou will notice the rest of the files have inherited the new name and are sequentially numbered.
